Sample from Lush I got a few weeks back that I finally used! Man, this stuff made my face super super soft. I was really impressed with it again. I should be able to get a couple more uses out of it before I decide if I wanna buy the full size product. But first impressions, were good!

Kombucha Tea that I drank today! I found these at my local grocery store, in the Organic section. This tea is suppose to be really good for you, all natural. It does give you energy, which is great for the evening work outs. I only drank half of it today and saved the other half for the next day. Let me tell you the taste isn't great by any means and it's scary with all of the living things floating in it. But if it's good for me, I'm willing to give it a try.

Happy Birthday Dad!!! :) I went out to dinner w/ my friends Erica and Christine tonight, so didn't actually see my dad because my the time I got home he was already in bed. I did bring him this treat though, it's the Snickers cheesecake from the Cheesecake factory. He did enjoy it a few days later! :) Also, Happy Birthday to my friend Sarah!!! Hopefully both of them enjoyed there birthday!

Nail polish haul! Zoya polish in Noel, Zoya polish in Edyta, and OPI Nicki Minaj in Fly. I got the 2 Zoya nail polishes in the mail. I placed an order on their website when they were having a promotion. They retail for about $8 in stores, but I paid $6.95 which is the shipping for both bottle, what a steal!! The OPI color I bought at Ulta on Thursday night with a 20% off coupon I had. I LOVE all of these colors.

Painted my nails with the Zoya nail polish in Noel. I'm loving the color!! Will see how these polishes wear after using No Chip Skip from OPI along w/ OPI top coat and base coat. It's now Sunday and they are still looking good.

Another cheesecake pic! This is also Snickers cheesecake from The Cheesecake Factory. I went out to dinner with my friend Alyssa and she wanted to go there, I couldn't say no! They have such good food and desert. As you can see from the picture, I had already taken a bite, delicious!!

Stopped at Target late last night and got these items. I'm in love with 2 of the songs on the CD so I thought I would just buy the whole thing and give it a whirl. My lips were really bothering me last night and even today so I picked up the Nivea chapstick in Milk & Honey and the Blistix Complete Moisture chapstick. I like both of them so far!

Gym stats for the day!! 10 miles in about 48 minutes on Level 10 for most part, then 8 for a few, and now 5 for the cool down.... not shabby since it was my first day on the elliptical in a while since I usually run outside.

Mail day, but a FAIL mail day! I bought these boots a good month ago but they were on back order forever, finally got them and they are way narrow and not really wide calf. DISAPPOINTED - they will be going back!! My hunt still continues for flat cognac boots!

Concert time!!! Me and Chris Young at the show where he opened for Miranda Lambert in La Crosse. This was a last minute show for me, because my friend Missy had an extra ticket! Now going to insert a few pictures of CY and Miranda. I didn't take any pictures of Jerrod Niemann but he was the first opener. This is a great show, so if you have a chance go to see it - DO IT!!! :)

Spent the day shopping with my friend Erica!! We went to Pleasant Prairie outlets and scored some good deals at the Gap outlet and then found this Olive Garden to eat at. This was my drink - delicious Sangria! :) Such a fun way to wrap up the weekend with Erica!

Drink of the day!! Venti Passion Ice Tea sweeted from Starbucks! This is my fave drink in the summer to get and since it was 50 degrees out, I opted for this instead of my usual latte. Sooo delicious!

Happy on top ... 53 degrees in January in Wisconsin - yes please!!! :) Sad on the bottom ... I hit 100,000 miles on my car this AM :( I still have a bunch of money to pay off on this car so it better last a long time yet!!!

Rest of the week will come on Sunday!! Can't wait to see what kind of pictures I'll come up with for those!! :)

Jan Wk 1 - Pictures!! :)

My friend Sarah and I decided to do the 365 picture a day project for the year!! Since I do love taking pictures this is a good way to make sure I get at least one picture a day. The picture is either going to be of something I loving that day or did that day! It will give you a great insight into my everyday life in case you were really interested!! :) Sooo, since I didn't really decide to do this until middle of the week, I decided I might as well just do one big post for this week. I'll probably do a post every other day or weekly like this!

Since I was in Texas on this day, I wanted to tour the Dallas Cowboys Stadium and that's we did. I'm including a picture of me standing on the field. They had the stadium all set up for the Cotton Bowl that took place on Jan. 6th, where the Arkansas beat Kansas 29-16.

January 2nd 2012

My last day in Texas!! :( It was really nice weather today, probably in the 50's. We just hung out at Lauren's house until they were taking me to the airport. We stopped to get something to eat before they took me and we ate at this place called Smashburger!! This place is delicious!! The first time I ate there was last time I was in Texas in October and fell in love! They also have my favoriate, mild obsession of fried pickles!!!! They are soooo good! I wish we had some of these in WI. A huge shout out and THANK YOU to Lauren and her mom Shelley for letting me stay with them while I visted Texas!!! :) Always a great time with those ladies!

First day back to work for the new year!! I was very tired since my flight didn't get in until about 8pm and didn't get home until about 9-9:30pm. To get me through the day I made a quick run to Starbucks on my lunch and got my usual Grande Skinny Vanilla Latte to make it through the rest of the day!

Mail day!! The day before I left for Texas I placed an order on the bodyshop.com. They were having a great deal and I love some of their products. The Tea Tree gel is amazing to use for breakouts so I always stock up when there is a deal. I got them for 50% off so I stocked up while I had the chance. I then purchased a few other items to give a try to. I've been using the Tea Tree Blemish Fade night lotion for the past few days, I haven't really noticed a difference but I'm going to continue to use it. The Hemp lip balm is great. I just actually put some on and it's very mosturizing. The Hemp hand oil stuff I used one day and I didn't think I used it right, but I let some of the people I work with used it and love it, so I'll do an update on that later!

Another Haul!!!! :) Did some shopping at Target and Walmart after work and these are a few of the items I picked up! Items purchased: Soho Crease Brush from Walmart (never seen these before, really like), L'Oreal Balm in Nourishing Nude, Maybelline Baby Lips in Cherry Me, Maybelline Color Tattoo eyeshadow in Too Cool (white shimmery color) and a repurchase of the Neutrogena Clarifying Shampoo. I also purchased a new sports bra and a pair of workout pants at Target for a good price!

January 7th 2012

SUSHI!!!!! My friend Alyssa and I went and tried a new sushi place I have heard great things about called Screaming Tuna. It's in the 5th ward of downtown Milwaukee, a little hidden gem I guess. The food was great, service was good. I would go back again.. but this time make a reservation!

After we got done eating we decided to stop at the mall so I could go to Lush. I've been hearing some great things on youtube about their products and wanted to give them a try. This is what I walked out of there with 45 min later! :) I got Buffy Body Butter (the bar), Cupcake face mask, Jumping Juniper solid shampoo in the tin, Sweet Lips Lip Scrub, and the Veganese conditioner. Then I got sampls of the Ocean Salt face/body scrub, Dream Cream lotion and Almond & Coconut Smoothie. Everything smells amazing!! :) If interested I would do a review on some of the stuff.

Today was a chill day for me, but one of the things on my to do list was to clean my makeup brushes!! So here they all are cleaned and ready to use for the week. This is what 2 weeks of dirty brushes for me looks like!! YIKES!! :)
