January Glossybox

Hey All -

I'm here to talk about my January Glossybox. I know this is really late but I didn't get until the middle of February. Glossybox teamed up with The Man Repeller for this month's box. Let's check out what was inside:

The first item in the box was the Le Metier De Beaute replenishing daily solution. The card included says this rich, emollient formula protects, conditions and hydrates while it nourishes, rejuvenates and detoxifies skin, restoring a health suppleness for your skin. Paraben-Free. The sample is rather small at .10 oz in a foil packet but this retails for $225 for 1.17oz. This product is expensive, I would never re-purchase just based on price alone. I'll most certainly can't wait to try it though.

The 2nd item in the box is the Vincent Longo Lipstain SPF 15 Lipstick. This award winning Lipstain Lipstick with SFP15, aloe vera and vitamin E works to soften and nourish the lip tissue while delicately tinting lips with a glossy coat of sheer color. The emollient lightweight texture clings to slips to ensure it won't bleed over the lip line. Full size is $23.00.

The 3rd item in the box was the Fresh Umbrian Clay Mattifying Serum. Umbrian Clay, Fresh's proprietary ingredient, has a uniquely high-mineral content that works to neutralize acidity, purifying and clarifying the complexion. This treatment formula tones and hydrates while controlling shine and minimizing the appearance of pores. Full size is $35 for 1 oz, sample size is .17oz. I'm excited to try this.

The next item in the box was the OPI "Can't Let Go" liquid sand nail polish. A unique matte purple shade with subtle accents of reflective shimmer. This long wearing liquid sand lacquer dries to a matte finish which means no top coat is necessary. Apply base coat and 2 coats of color for full opacity. This retails for about $9.00. I'm not a fan of matte nails so this will be interesting to try.

The next item is the Narcisco Rodriguez for her Eau De Toilette spray. A fragrant harmony of music, intimately refined with a floral facet developing gently and slowly, rounding out into the feminine warm tones of sun-kissed skin, dusted in soft, velvet-like sensuality. Full size retails for $77/1.6 oz. Sample is .03 oz and doesn't smell very good. This is not my kind of scent at all!!! I hate getting fragrance samples in these boxes. You can get these for free at Sephora or any dept store!

I also got a sample of the Estee Lauder Sumptuous Extreme Lash Multiplying volume mascara. Three different high volume fibers create audacious, false-lash effects. Lustrous color leaves eyes brighter, wider, more seductive than ever. Build bigger, bolder, more extreme lashes at the Estee Lauder counter today. Full size is $25/.27oz. Sample size is .1 oz. I'm very interested to try this mascara. I'm not really a fan of mascaras that have fibers in them, but I'll for sure give this a whirl.

The last item in the box is the Living Proof prime style extender. A first-of-its-kind, style-extending weightless hair primer extends hairstyles twice as long with a think weightless shield around every hair strand. Go longer between shampoos and style touch-ups with this advanced priming system. Full size is $20/5 oz. Sample size is 1 oz, which is a great size. I'm excited to try this and see if it really does anything. I'm always skeptical with hair products so will see.

Now that I finally blogged about this box, I'll start using the products!! If there is anything that you want to see a review of, let me know and I'll do it. Overall, I think this was a decent box this month. I'm excited for my February box that should be here soon!
