Products I've used up - March 2013

Hey All -

I thought I would show you what products I've used up recently. Just give a quick review of the product and if I would re-purchase it or not. I finished up quite a few things lately so will try to make this quick.

I finished up quite a few things lately so will try to make this quick.

First item I finished up is the Aveeno Pure Renewal conditioner.
Thoughts:  I'm always trying new conditioners because I never find one that I love. This was nice and it's sulfate-free which is great. Did I notice a difference in my hair, No. But I enjoyed using it.
Re-purchase: No, I wouldn't.

Women's VitaFusion gummy multi vitamins.
Thoughts: I enjoy having gummy vitamins as they are easier to take in the morning. They taste good and are easy.
Re-purchase: Yes, absolutely. I re-purchased a different kind this time but would certainly go back to these.

Sonia Kashuk eye makeup remover.
Thoughts: It was a nice eye makeup remover, it took off most of my eye makeup. I feel like not all eye makeup removers completely take off everything. But this did a good job at it.
Re-purchase: I'm not sure if I would re-purchase. I've had better and I've had worse. For the cost of this, I'm not sure I would. I still feel like I'm on the hunt for a great eye makeup remover, so if you have any suggestion let me know!

Prestige My Blackest Lashes mascara.
Thoughts: It was a good mascara at first, I enjoyed how my lashes looked but as the time went on it started flaking on me. I also felt that it was hard to get off.
Re-purchase: Probably not, I enjoyed it but there is a lot of mascaras out there I need to try. This wouldn't be the first on the list.

Aquaphor healing ointment.
Thoughts: Love this stuff. A friend of mine introduced me to this after I was having issues w/ my dry lips last year and haven't been without it since. These are small tubes are are great for dry skin spots and especially dry lips. I keep this at my desk at work as my lip balm. These do come in a pack of 2, since they are smaller containers.
Re-purchase: Already have!!! Will continue to re-purchase.

Aveeno Ultra-Calming Daily Moisturizer.
Thoughts: This is just a sample size I had gotten and finally decided to use. It was a nice moisturizer but I felt that it was a bit heavy for my skin type. It did have a nice smell to it and I like that it has SPF 30 in it.
Re-purchase: No, I wouldn't go out and purchase the full size.

Benefit It's Potent eye cream.
Thoughts: This is a sample size I had gotten in a kit. It was nice to try some skin care from Benefit. The eye cream was nice. I didn't notice a difference in my under eyes at all. It was hydrating for the area. The sample was quite small so it was hard when it got down to the bottom to get the product out. The packaging is not my favorite for this product.
Re-purchase: No, I would not purchase a full size of this product. It was nice, and I enjoyed using it but not something that I found that I had to use all the time. Also, still on the hunt for a good eye cream. Leave suggestions below!

Smith's Rosebud Salve
Thoughts: I love the Rosebud Salve products that come in a tin. So when I saw they offered it in a tube a while back of course I purchased it. This stuff was CRAP. I felt like it wasn't the same stuff that comes in the  tin. I'm sure they had to adjust the formula to put it in the tube, but it wasn't the same. I used up what I could of the product but it wasn't doing anything for my lips at all.
Re-purchase: NO!!! Get the Rosebud Salve in the tin (from Sephora), not this stuff in the tube!

Wella Moisturizing treatment for fine to normal hair.
Thoughts: I got this sample in my Glossybox. It took me a long time to get through the sample as I only used it once a week as a hair mask. It was a nice mask and smelled really good. It did make my hair soft.
Re-purchase: No, I wouldn't purchase the full size. I liked it but I feel like you can get easily accessible masks for less expensive.

AmorePacific Moisture Bound Refreshing Hydra-gel.
Thoughts: I also got this sample in a Glossybox as well. This was a gel consistency which felt really nice on the skin, but I only put this on my neck at night as my moisturizer. This was so fragrant that I would not have been able to put that on my entire face. It was very floral smelling.
Re-purchase: No, I wouldn't purchase the full size of this product. I remember the price being quite high and I just am not willing to spend that much money on a moisturizer.

Okkkk, so those are all the items I've finished up in the last 2 months or so and my thoughts on them. Let me know if you like this kind of posts and would like to see them in the future. I have a couple of other items that I recently used up that I could share.

Any input would be greatly appreciated!!

Thank you so much for reading!! :)

- Jill
